How old to Society Finches have to be in order to mate?
I have 3 Society Finches that were born in the spring, so they’re 6-9 months old. I found out there’s two males and one female. Once they pair up and all, how old do they have to be to start mating?

A good age for your society finches to start breeding is 9 months old. You also need to make sure your society finches are in good breeding condition. They need to be on a well-balanced diet with plenty of calcium. Calcium is needed for egg formation and so that the female doesn’t become egg bound. Also, don’t breed any ill or molting finches.
