How do anarchists view it possible to live in a society without a government?

2
It just doesn’t make sense to me how there would be order. Somalia (the only place I know that you could call an anarchy kind of) has a very weak, deteriorating government that has been overrun by pirates. If someone could explain to me how an anarchist society would thrive and prosper, that would be great.

I agree with you. That is probably why there are not many true Anarchists in this world. I don’t think I have ever known anyone who thought anarchy was the best option.

Governments are not natural. We need no leaders as we are all humans and deserve to be treated equally. Governments, however, are necessary to protect the capitalist state. One country cannot exist without a government; it needs to be worldwide and likewise the abolition of global capitalism (or any profit-based system) is necessary. Capitalism alienates us and treats us as merely commodities. It thrives on destroying us, and turns us all against each other by the pursuit of profit. It divides us in the fact that we must look for other ways to define ourselves. We are NOT treated like humans under this system of oppression and exploitation. Governments wage war on each other based on the unequal access of resources, which can be allocated to prevent poverty and fulfil everyone’s essential needs. Governments do not look out for our interests, but only the ruling class interests.

The majority of history prior to the development of a class-based system was that of primitive communism.

Once we have a society that values as humans, most crime would be eliminated as crime is mostly economically motivated. Solidarity is the key foundation to any society. There is no human solidarity under capitalism. All problems will be dealth with on a local level by all members of the community.
