What do gang bangers believe the rest of society thinks of them?
Do they really think they are feared and respected or are they smart enough to understand that most people think they are lazy , cowardly , punks? Or are they such low lifes that they only care about themselves and don’t care about the rest of society?

Gang Bangers are deviant from society, but they themselves do not see that; they do not consider themselves deviant. Since society labels them as deviant thats why we mostly view them in such a way. I am not saying what they do is bad, because the majority of gangs kill, rape, rob, sell drugs and so on. But I believe they themselves do not see what they are doing wrong. the gang is their family in which they accept them. BUT I dont understand why a “family” will set rules… beat you up to gain access into the gang.. and put you in situations where your commiting crime…. WE ( those not in a gang) of course see them as deviants and we give them the label… THEY ( gang members) do not.
