What responsibility do we have to society?
As human beings, what duties and what responsibilities do we have to our society and to our community, if any? To what degree does this vary in different societies?

I believe we have a responsibility to be reasonable with and respectful of each other and promote kindness with little everyday acts.
We have a responsibility not to become a burden on others when we don’t need to be.

First of all it depends on whether certain human beings understand the concept of ‘responsibility’ and are able to apply it to life.
I believe that all humans choose different levels of responsibility. Though responsibility can only be understood if there is a level of emotion (possibly guilt or love) attached to the situation/object of responsibility and the human.
What responsibility a human undertakes also depends on their financial/family/health and overall life situation.
My responsibilities in life includes: looking after my family, showing that i appreciate them and care for them, studying for college, making sure I’m always understood, always listening and trying to live life in a fair and productive way.
This is a really complex question by the way and i found it challenged me more than any other question I’ve chosen to answer on this site so far. Well done.
