Why do people allow themselves to get brainwashed by society?
For instance, society tells me that guns are immoral, trans-fats are immoral, PLASTIC BAGS are immoral, regular light bulbs are immoral, filesharing is immoral, *** outside marriage is immoral, *** outside relationship is immoral, etc.
Many people put moral judgment on inanimate objects such as the above, rather than the misuse or abuse of those objects. Besides, in reality, brainwashing does not change everyone’s mind – it’s only creates “class” divisions in the society with each class having their own set of beliefs & the general public is confused as to what is actually good and bad.
