What does the lack of a 13th floor in high rise buildings say about modern society?
Many buildings omit the 13th floor because of the number of people who carry a ridiculous superstition about the number 13.
What does this say about our society? How much are we willing to put up with?
And more to the point… How elaborate does a superstition need to be before it becomes a religion? Where does superstition end and religion begin?
