What do you think computers impact on society are?

I’m doing an essay for my business course and I need other peoples opinions on this subject. What effect do you think computers are having and will have on society, electronic trading in particular, making it so people don’t even need to leave the house to do shopping now. How do you see society in a few years time if everything keeps getting computerised so that everything can be done on the internet?
