Red Hat Society – About the Exalted Queen Mother
The Red Hat Society is the world’s largest networking community for ladies. From its beginning in 1998 until now, the Red Hat Society features more than 30,000 chapters in every State across the Nation. It even is founded in over 25 foreign countries.
The Society couldn’t have happened without the founder, Sue Ellen Cooper. Sue Ellen based the concept of the Red Hat Society on fun and friendship. Thanks to her, many others now share this same philosophy.
Sue Ellen Cooper has accomplished a lot of wonderful things in her life. Before she founded the Red Hat Society, she worked as a commercial greeting card illustrator. She also spent several years working a mural-painting business.
Sue Ellen Cooper is a true artist at heart. Her favorite things to do are to draw and paint. She especially enjoys the medium of watercolor, but she has recently enjoyed using colored pencils.
She graduated from California State University, Fullerten with a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences. She was honored by her Alma Mater in 2004 with the Distinguished Alumni Visions and Visionaries Award. The Award celebrates her many achievements she has made that have impacted so many women worldwide.
She also made Fullteron’s 25 Most Influential People List in 2004. She has written several best-selling books about the Red Hat Society. She has also contributed with author’s of several other books.
She also is a loving wife and mother. She and her husband, Allen, currently reside in Fullerton, California. They are the parents of Shane and Andrea, and the grandparents of two granddaughters.
Thousands of women are inspired by Sue Ellen Cooper’s inspiration. Because she is the founder, and because of her other wonderful achievements, Sue Ellen Cooper holds the title of the “Exalted Queen Mother” among Red Hatters. What a fitting title for such an amazing woman.
