Is the novel Brave New World a commentary to America or society in general?
I have read the book and it seems like talks about society in general although America does fit into many of the things Huxley talks about.
Also, what time period is it geared towards? I know it was written in the 1920’s and 1930’s but is there a particular timer period he is commenting on? I know the book made “predictions” as well but he had to have based them off of something.
I know Huxley was English. Just fyi.
