My 10 year old cat just died a few months ago and i would like to get another cat.Should i get it from my local society or the pet shop?

My wife is a foster parent for the Humane Society. Right now she has 4 very small baby kittens. Last night when we were setting up for our garage sale and I think one of the kittens got loose. We can’t find her anywhere. Now my wife is worried sick and the vet techs are closed on the weekend and she is wondering what will happen if we don’t find the cat. Anyone ever have this happen?

My landlord is now make a rule that anyone who has a cat in their apartment has to get rid of the cat (due to an incident with one of the tenants). Will the humane society take her? If so, do I have to pay them to take her?

I’m in the 7th grade, and I’m doing a project to express my love for cats, and I’m going to make a advertisement to persuade people to volunteer at the human society. Just like a poster type advertisement you’d see someone post in a coffee shop.
