How can I help out at the Humane Society?

I am 14 right now and u have 2 be 15 to volunteer at the humane society. I don’t turn 15 tell next summer. I already participate in as many fundrasers and events posible. But I don’t feel like I am doing enough. Please help.

Requirements for humane society volunteers?

I really want to volunteer at my local humane society walking dogs and playing with cats and stuff–do I have to be a certain age, have certain licenses? I basically wanna know what the requirements are for volunteers that want to help by walking and playing with the pets and stuff like that. I am 14. Is that going to be a problem?

How can we curb violence in today’s society?

It’s quite sad to see how the cancer of violence has eaten deep into the fabric of today’s society. You turn on the news, you hear of people being gunned down in schools, shopping malls, on the street etc. Gangsterism is on the rise in many cities, guns are sold like candies in every nook and cranny – this is quite lamentable and absolutely a woeful state of affair. How can we rid today’s society of violence? What is your take.
