Anyone else fed up by how badly men are portrayed in society?

Despite all the feminists out there protesting for equal rights for women, I would say that women have the upper hand in our society. For some reason, men are viewed throughout society as being stupid, lazy, sex-driven slobs; while women are seen as being clever and virtuous and generally wonderful.

Why does society look down upon people who are quiet and are themselves yet reward people who are fake?

People always perceive someone who is quiet to be mean, or stupid yet so many times I watch people eat up whatever a person does/says even if they’re completely fake.
