I don’t know what they eat in the rural outskirts of Tanzania, gudrun077, but the difference between them and us, probably, is that they don’t have a choice. We have a choice and we keep on choosing the road that leads to unhealthiness only for the short term pleasure. Since industry cares more about money than the consumer, is it possible to live healthy and cheap…or is that an oxymoron?

Diego I don’t think any animals, even apes, can evolve exactly as humans have with opposable thumbs and ‘voicebox’ necessary for complex speech patterns. Animals have fairly complicated means of communication anyway, that has been proven, it is more a question of how we can understand and interract better with them
