Many people put moral judgment on inanimate objects such as the above, rather than the misuse or abuse of those objects. Besides, in reality, brainwashing does not change everyone’s mind – it’s only creates “class” divisions in the society with each class having their own set of beliefs & the general public is confused as to what is actually good and bad.

Then after examining politicians use of words of flinging mud at each other followers begin hating their counterpart.
Do you think opinionated media is guilty for fostering bitter division in society or would it be politicians?
What would you suggest to help mend/heal these bitter division and get a unified society?

The ways to reach this goal are different.
The current capitalist worldvision is based on power, selfisch interest and war. War between concurrents in economy. This is a model of battle.
But is it possible to built a society that is based on harmony, loving-kindness and compassion.
