Would a society like this come closer to socialism or capitalism?

A pre-industrial, agrarian society with excessive resources, very low population, and no monetary system. Municipality as the highest form of government, not holding any more power than other municipalities. Limited and relatively simple production based on workers like farmers and artisans and limited division of labor. Limited variations in social class and limited communication with outside communities.
There wouldn’t be any slaves.

What would our society be like if women were in charge and men were only slaves ?

Imagine if women had all the rights and privileges and men were only slaves . How would you treat your boyfriend / husband ? Would you expect him to work hard ? Would you keep him busy doing chores ? What would our society be like ?

What was the role of the common man in ancient society?

I know that my question is a bit vague (because of its dependence on the specific society), but I am looking for a synopsis on the overall role of the common man in ancient society. In most cases, the common man (slaves included) were lower class people who were not of great concern to the government. Could someone add onto that?

If anyone has any information he feels worth knowing, please let me know.
